2012 SUMS Scoring System
a) Race "positions" will be formulated into race "points" to give equal value to every race, with all points being calculated as a fraction of the winner's time multiplied by 500.  Points = Winner's time/your time * 500.  From 2011 onwards, points will be calculated separately for men and women (i.e. the first lady will also score 500 points).
b)  Four races must be completed for SUMS eligibility, and if more are finished, the four highest will count.
c) Highest aggregate of four highest race points scored will decide position in table.
e)  In the event of a tie, 5th highest points scored will be tie-breaker. Results are only displayed in whole numbers but for the purposes of awarding prizes the results will be calculated to as many decimal places as required.
f) Age categories (MV, MSV, FV, FSV) for SUMS, will be decided by age on the day of the WHW race.  If no date of birth is available at the time of category calculation, the category will be displayed in blue until such time that it can be verified.

Please note, in 2013 the scoring system will probably change.
